Bill Ferenc is an illustrator & designer living in Ann Arbor, Michigan w/ his partner, Martin, & their tripod cat, Lt. Dan. Character & story-driven illustration is his true passion, but on top of that he’s also a bike rider, a comic book reader, a huge fan of Dozer & Homes, & an LGBTQ+ community member & advocate. He organizes the @a2DrinkandDraw group which (typically) meets the first Sunday of each month at Dozer, and is a friendly gathering of makers, dreamers, and doers. Drop by some time & say hi!

The tote bag design was inspired by scenery, coffee equipment, & the community spirit at Dozer, along w/ the local folklore of: the espresso machine possessed by the spirit of a friendly barista, the coffee cup that grew legs & ran away, the gnomes that hide the portafilter when you’re not watching, & the alien abduction that took place on Jackson Plaza. Yes, all these things happened, but no, you won’t find anything online.

We love Bill beyond words & are inspired by him & his creativity & comfort he brings to a room. This tote bag means a lot to us & we’re happy to share it with our Dozer community 🤍
